My mom stays in a retirement village in Port Elizabeth and all her children stay far away from her. Each year we try and arrange something special for her.
This year I made for her (and 2 of her friends) a little handbag which contained:1 box of chocolates
1 small cold drink
1 ticket to the theatre
1 limousine collection and drop off
Of course, all three old ducks were thrilled with my mom's gift and are looking forward to the limo ride!
The handbags are made from 2 pieces of 30 x 30 scrap paper joined together and folded strategically.
And then decorated as one wishes.Handles are put on at the end.
A lovely little idea for a small gift.
